# Feedback on test runs

> How test and skill feedback help Semaloop agents improve over time.

Providing feedback helps Semaloop agents get better over time. There are two ways to provide feedback:

* **Test feedback**: You will see this in the UI as “Was this result correct?” on the test run page. This is feedback on the test itself, and the feedback is for whether the test ran smoothly, or if we reached the correct conclusion. This feedback is used by Semaloop to better train our agent for future runs, but there is no short-term impact of submitting this feedback.
* **Skill feedback**: Within the trace of a test run, you’ll see a thumbs up and down for each skill. A positive response helps us train our Semaloop agents. A negative response also does that, but also invalidates the skill for future runs. This means that on the next test run, the agent will be forced to re-learn that particular part of the test run. This is helpful if you’re seeing the agent consistently get stuck on a given part of your test.
